Mid-Year Check-In

June 19, 2014 by CreativeIncome Leave a Comment

july-2We are almost to the mid-point of the year. How are your creative business goals coming along?
Was one of your goals to finally get your creative business started? Have you done it?

Are you that person sitting there with a list of excuses as to WHY you can’t start your creative business? It’s easy to find reason to NOT do something. Especially something that might seem a little different or even scary.

How much longer can you keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking about your dream business, the products you would make and sell, or how and where you will sell them? What is Your Excuse for Not Starting Your Creative Business?

Don’t let excuses keep you from doing what you dream of. You might just be missing out on your chance to live the life of your dreams. But you will never know unless you set the excuses aside and get started.

Maybe you are like me and get overwhelmed easily. Maybe just the thought of all of the things you need to do to start a creative business overwhelms you to the point that you just can’t take that first step. It’s really not hard at all if you break it down into tiny steps.

Starting a Creative Business – The Basics is a good article to start with. Just pick one item from this short list to start with. Once you have one thing accomplished then move on to the next. Don’t even think about the whole list at once. Just one item at a time.

And just in case you missed it here are 8 posts I wrote just before the New Year last year.
