Looking for new places to sell online? There are tons of them. Hundreds probably. There are so many of them it’s hard to keep track and sometimes it just seems easier to stay with Artfire or Etsy or eBay. But when it’s a site that’s building a following quickly and is clean and easy to use, it might be worth trying. That’s why I wanted to share GoodSmiths with you all.
From what I can tell, the site works very similarly to all the other online marketplaces where you can open a shop, list your items, and wait for sales to roll in. Goodsmiths does not charge a listing fee, which is more than incentive to give it a test run. They do currently restrict items to handmade only though which I know some of you would prefer, but if you only sell vintage (like I do), you are out of luck for now. But word on the street is they’re reconsidering their decisions.
So what do you say? Will you or have you tried selling on GoodSmiths?
